8 Recipes For a Holly Jolly Holiday

Usually, the holidays are a time for gatherings with the ones we love. Gathering around delicious meals, celebrating the past year and looking forward to the possibilities of a new year.

Well, this year things may look different for a lot of us (although we can probably agree we’re likely looking forward to the new year!). Even if we’re not gathering in the ways we have in past years, it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun and eat well! So we’ve put together an assortment of sweet and savory treats that will hopefully bring some holiday cheer!

Holiday Spirit
Want to recreate the feeling of the holiday cocktail party? (or maybe you're having a virtual one?) Start with a Cranberry Moscow Mule! This twist on an old favorite is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. You could also make up some finger foods to enjoy, (perhaps adjusting the quantities for a smaller gathering...).  Classics like slow cooker meatballs and mini quiche are easy and delicious. Also, as a Vermont-based business we have to include something with maple, like this Maple Baked Brie.

Sweet Treats
Whether you want some sweet treats in the house to enjoy throughout the season, or you're looking for something to package up and share with loved ones, we’ve got some ideas for you. Cookies are always a good choice. The sugar cookie, using holiday cookie cutters are a classic, or these snickerdoodles simply using decorating sugars to make them festive are a great choice as well! For chocolate lovers these Oreo Truffles are always a treat, or for something really decadent, check out these White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Bites.

Hopefully we’ve been able to provide some inspiration, and we’ll all be able to enjoy a safe (and delicious) holiday season!
